[Kise whines and cries, calling Akaashi 'mean' and 'a big bully,' but he gets up and meanders out to gather the packages and comes back to set them on the bed. He sits down - not squashing Akaashi this time - and looks eagerly at his bro.]

[Akaashi will find some top of the line volleyball shoes...and some super nice kneepads because Y DON'T U USE THEM AKASHI WTF]

I am. [ he's never been big on the whole christmas thing, and he figures kise wouldn't get him anything big. which is why his eyes go wide when he finds the shoes, the kneepads. he never expected this much. ]

I... [ runs his hand over the trainers ] Thank you, Ryouta. You didn't have to get me all this.

[ akaashi's gift to him wasn't nearly as big. he'll have to make breakfast today. ]

[A softer smile, not as obnoxious as his usual. Akaashi may not think he deserves it, but Akaashi's done a lot for Kise- way more than he realizes. As the youngest of 3, it was strange living in a household with no siblings. The teasing and bickering was very familiar, kept him grounded. Even though he whines a whole heck of a lot.]
